San Jose, Calif. - The San José State University men's golf team is back in action at the Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Ore. The Spartans return to the Gonzaga University hosted event after a pair top-10 finishes in two of the last three years.
The 54-hole tournament will be contested on the Pacific Dunes course, Golfweek’s top-ranked resort course of 2014 and one of four tracks at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Play begins on Sunday, March 9 and concluds on Tuesday, March 11, with 18 holes of play each day.
In Sunday’s first round, San José State, in an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start off tees five through nine, is paired with defending team champion Colorado, Rice and Kansas City on the par 71, 6,603-yard course.
The field of 15 teams also includes 15th ranked Washington, Boston College, Missouri, Oregon, University of the Pacific, Saint Mary’s, UC Davis, Utah Valley, Washington State and Weber State.
