2014-15: Ended a season for the record books with a 70.7 stroke average, the lowest on record in San José State men’s golf history … selected All-Mountain West and PING All-West Region for the second consecutive year … selected and competed as an individual in his third NCAA Regional Championship in as many seasons as a Spartan … two victories moved him into second all-time at SJSU with four career wins behind only Arron Oberholser … set a new single-round school record in relation to par with a 10-under 62 in the final round on his way to victory at the Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational (10/24-26) … the 62 featured 10 birdies, no bogies and gave him a new school-record 54-hole total of 198 … second win of the season came at the Bandon Dunes Championship (3/13-14) where he shot 65-73-138 (-6) … played 22 rounds at par or better, tying Oberholser for the most in a single season in program history … finished tied for 9th at the Mountain West Championship (5/1-3) after firing a final-round 66 (-5) … runner-up finish at the Wolverine Intercollegiate (9/6-7), shooting 70-68-69-207 (-6) … third place at the Golfweek Conference Challenge (9/14-16), shooting 73-71-68-212 (-4) … opened The Goodwin (3/26-28) with back-to-back 66’s and finished in a tie for ninth place … ended the season shooting 77-72-75-224 (+8) and in a tie for 40th place at the NCAA Regional Championship in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
2013-14: Averaged 70.76 strokes per round in 10 tournaments (29 rounds) which is the lowest average in records available since 1978-79...earned his first two collegiate wins; at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate (9/9-10) and Wolverine Intercollegiate (9/16-17)...shot a career-best 64 in the second round of the Wolverine Intercollegiate tying Jay Myers and Arron Oberholser for the program's lowest round since the 1987-88 season...his seven-under par 64 at the Wolverine Intercollegiate is the second best round to par since 1997-98 season...shot back-to-back 203 tournament totals, his career-best at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate and Wolverine Intercollegiate...in the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate he shot three rounds in the 60s for the first time in his college career...three of four starts in the fall resulted in two wins and a second place finish...six top-10 finishes including four in the top-4...11 of his 29 rounds were in the 60s...18 of his 29 rounds were at level par or better including a team leading 17 rounds under par...finished in the top-25 in every regular-season tournament except the Alister MacKenzie Invitational (DQ) and The Goodwin (WD)...competed in the NCAA Regional Championship as an individual and finished tied for 39th.
2012-13: Averaged 72.84 strokes per round in 13 tournaments (39 rounds)...one of four golfers to play in each round on the season...eight top-20 and three top-10 finishes...best result was a tie for second at the Duck Invitational (3/25-26)...shot a team and Western Athletic Conference best 13 rounds under par...best single round was a 66 to open the U.S. Intercollegiate (3/28-30) among 10 rounds in the 60s...twice shot a season-best tournament score of 210, at the Amer Ari Invitational (2/6-8) and the Duck Invitational...15 of his 39 rounds were shot at par or better...one of two freshman in the nation to earn his conference's Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and first team honors...competed in the NCAA Regional Championship as an individual and finished tied for 50th...San José State's most decorated freshman golfer as a member of the Western Athletic Conference.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 first-team All-East Bay Athletic League honoree from San Ramon Valley (Calif.) High School...second place finish out of 120 at the 2010 Aiello Invitational at the Discovery Bay Country Club...a 2008 NCGA Junior Championship qualifier and also played junior amateur golf with the American Junior Golf Association, Northern California Professional Golf Association and the Northern California Golf Association.
