San Jose, Calif.-----KFIV Radio (1360 AM, Modesto), a member of the iHeartRadio Network, is the newest edition to the San Jose State Football Radio Network. Jordan Friedman, general manager of Spartan Sports Properties, made the announcement.
KFIV, which features nationally-syndicated talk hosts Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Kim Komando, services the central San Joaquin Valley area from Stockton to Merced with reach as far south as Fresno and past Sacramento to the north.
"We are delighted that KFIV joined our broadcast network for San Jose State football this season," says Friedman. "San Jose State has a strong core of alumni in the San Joaquin Valley and now we can bring Spartan football to them via KFIV."
The San Jose State Football Radio Network now consists of long-time flagship station KLIV (1590 AM, San Jose), KION (1460 AM, Salinas) and KFIV.
Broadcast times for San Jose State football begins with a 30-minute pregame show, the in-game broadcast and a postgame show. Michael Spero calls the play-by-play and Kevin Richardson serves as the broadcast analyst.
KFIV will be part of the network beginning Friday, August 31, when San Jose State travels to #21-Stanford in a 7:00 p.m. (PDT) game.
