Upcoming game: San José State vs. Sacramento State,  Thursday, August 29, 2013, Spartan Stadium, San José, Calif., 7:00 p.m. (PDT)

2012 San José State record: 11-2, 5-1 WAC. The Spartans completed the season with a seven-game winning streak after defeating Bowling Green (29-20) on December 27 in the Military Bowl.

2012 Sacramento State record: 6-5, 4-4 Big Sky. The Hornets lost their last two games and tied for fifth in the Big Sky Conference.

Play-by-Play Radio Coverage: KLIV (1590 AM, San José) originates San José State football broadcasts. Justin Allegri has the new play-by-play voice. Kevin Richardson offers commentary. The network affiliate is KION (1460 AM/101.1 FM, Salinas). The KLIV broadcast begins at 7:00 p.m. KSJS (90.5 FM, San Jose) also will broadcast the Sacramento State game. Air time is 6:45 p.m.
