AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his first season with the Spartans... Competing for playing time as a defensive end... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in February 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played two seasons for Los Angeles' Loyola High (Coach Marvin Sanders)... Saw action in the defensive line and as a fullback in short yardage situations... Played defensive tackle and tight end his junior season... Began his high school career at Saint John's Northwest Military Academy in Delafield, Wis. ... Was a tight end on the football team (Coaches Tim Vice & Gene Bailey) and was an honorable mention All-Midwest Classic Conference pick as a sophomore... Three-sport letterwinner also played on the basketball squad and was a sprinter on the track and field team.
