2014: Played in all 12 games and was the only true freshman to start a game for the Spartans during the season... Started six games... Saw action as a cornerback before settling into a starting role at safety... First major college start came in the fourth game of the season vs. Nevada (9/27)... Made an immediate impression as a starter with six tackles and a tackle for loss... Finished fifth on the team in total tackles with 66... Led all Mountain West freshmen in total tackles... Sixth among Mountain West defensive backs and the top conference freshman with 51 unassisted tackles... Averaged 7.2 tackles for his six starts and had no less than five hits in any of those games...
