Matt Peleti is in his third year as a San José State University graduate assistant primarily working with the Spartans' offensive linemen.

Peleti is in his fourth season with the Spartans after finishing 2013 as the assistant video coordinator. He began 2013 working as a staff assistant with the offensive unit's coaches and players.

As a player, the Laguna Hills, Calif., native was a center on the 2009 through 2012 Torero teams coached by Ron Caragher. In his senior year, Peleti was a 2012 first-team All-Pioneer League selection and was named the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player at the end of the season. An honors student at the University of San Diego, he majored in finance and graduated with magna cum laude honors in 2013. He was named to the 2011 and 2012 Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Athletics Directors Association Academic All-Star Teams presented by KP Sports and the National Football Foundation's Hampshire Honor Society. Peleti also was a four-time All-Pioneer League Honor Roll student-athlete and a three-time University fo--of San Diego Presidential Scholar-Athlete.
