Community College All-Americans Among First 2017 San Jose State Football Signees

Four mid-year transfers, two of them All-Americans, are joining the Spartans.

AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his first season with the Spartans... Competing for playing time at a linebacker position... Comes to the Spartans with sophomore standing... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in January 2017.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: A 2016 first-team California Community College All-America for 2016 California Community College champion Fullerton College (Coach Tim Byrnes)... Southern California Football Association's Defensive Player of the Year ranked second in the Northern Conference Central and tops on his team with 71 tackles... Credited with 11.0 tackles for loss and was third on his team with 7.5 quarterback sacks... Also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and blocked a kick in his one community college season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A football (Coach A.J. Gass) and wrestling letterwinner at Servite High in Anaheim, Calif. ... 2013 first-team All-Trinity League player...Credited with 144 tackles 12.5 tackles for loss, 7.0 quarterback sacks, two fumble recoveries and a pass interception in two varsity seasons...Completed his high school football career playing in the North-South Orange County and the Orange County vs. Inland Empire all-star games...
