2014: Returned to a cornerback role and started in each of the 11 games he played... Honorable mention All-Mountain West selection... Missed the season opener vs. North Dakota (8/28)... Led the Spartans and tied for sixth in the Mountain West with three pass interceptions in consecutive games at Fresno State (11/8), vs. Hawai'i (11/15) and at Utah State (11/21)... Also led the team in forced fumbles an fumble recoveries with a pair in each category... Forced a fumble and recovered one at Minnesota (9/20)... One of only two Mountain West players to rank in the conference's top-10 in fumble recoveries and forced fumbles at the end of the season... 2013: Moved from cornerback to safety... Appeared in 12 games and started 11 times... Sixth on the team with 52 tackles... Notched his career high of nine tackles at Nevada (11/16)... One interception of the season prevented a possible touchdown and preceded a second-half game-tying touchdown drive in the Colorado State win (10/12)... Was in on an assisted tackle for loss came in the UNLV win (11/2).
2012: Played in 12 games and started four times... A cornerback who increased his playing time as the season evolved... Three of his four starts occurred in the final four games... 41 tackles including a season-high eight in the New Mexico State victory (11/10)... Led the team with 12 pass break ups... His one interception of the season saved a possible touchdown in the BYU victory (11/17)... Tied for second on the team and 42nd nationally with three forced fumbles... Third in the WAC and was the San José State team leader in passes defensed (1.00/game).
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time first-team All-C.I.F. San Diego Section Division II, first-team All-Grossmont Hills League and All-East County player for Helix High of San Diego, Calif. (Coach Troy Starr)...
