46 San Jose State Student-Athletes Named To Fall 2015 Academic All-Mountain West Team

Nine Spartans are three-time award winners; 14 more earned a second award.

AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: In his fourth season with the Spartans... Seen action in 28 games in his first three seasons... Competing for playing time in the wide receiver rotation... Spent his first two seasons as a safety and special teams player... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in February 2015.... A 2015 Academic All-Mountain West award winner.

2017: Was a reserve wide receiver and special teams player for the first nine games of the season... Caught four passes for 40 yards... All came in his final three games played... Had a season-high two receptions for 23 yards, including a 20-yard pass play at BYU (10/28)... Also had a catch versus San Diego State (10/21) and at Hawai'i (10/14)... Had his one tackle for the season on kickoff coverage in the opener vs. USF (South Florida - 8/26).

2016: Appeared in 10 games... Made his first major college start as a safety in the season opener at Tulsa (9/3) and was credited with three tackles... Finished the season with 16 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery... Most active game was at Utah (9/17) when he notched a career-high five tackles, one tackle for loss and a fumble recovery.

2015: Played in nine games primarily as a special teams contributor... Only tackle for the season came in the San Diego State game (10/17).
