AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his third season with the Spartans... An offensive guard candidate... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in February 2015... First joined the team for 2015 fall drills.

2016: Played in three games and was the starting left guard for the New Mexico game (10/1) and the starting right guard against Hawai'i (10/8)... First game action of the season was as a reserve against Portland State (9/10).

2015: Completed a redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 CalHiSports.com fourth-team all-state honoree for Freedom High in Oakley, Calif., (Coach Kevin Hartwig)... Played left tackle each of his three varsity seasons... A 2014 San Francisco Chronicle second-team All-Metro honoree... A two-time All-Bay Valley Athletic League offensive line selection receiving second team all-league honors as a junior and first-team recognition as a senior... Concluded his high school career at the 2015 Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Tampa, Florida.
