AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his second season with the Spartans... Competing for playing time as a running back... First joined the team for 2017 fall drills... 2017 Academic All-Mountain West award recipient.
2017: Played in 11 of the team's 13 games as a reserve running back... Fourth on the team in rushing yards with 290 and led the team with two rushing touchdowns... Second on the Spartans with a 4.9 yards per carry average... Was the team's most effective rusher the final two games of the season... 10 carries for 51 yards and his first major college touchdown at Colorado State (11/18)... Season-high 75 yards on just eight carries and a game-clinching 44-yard touchdown run with 2:07 remaining in the Wyoming win (11/25)... Touchdown vs. Wyoming was the second longest run of the season by a Spartan... Gave a glimpse of things to come with 60 yards on 10 carries in the Cal Poly victory (9/2)... Caught two passes during the season - one each vs. USF (South Florida - 8/26) and one at Texas (9/9).
COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at San Jose City College... First-team All-Pacific 7 League in 2016... Was the team's leading rusher with 710 yards and six touchdowns on 162 carries... Second on the team in receiving with 43 catches for 496 yards and five scores... 13th in the state for all-purpose running with a 121.5 yards per game average... Rushed 53 times for 201 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Steve Papin) and track and field at Gunderson High in San Jose.
