Eye-Catching Big Plays In San Jose State's Spring Football Game

AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: In his fourth season with the Spartans... A candidate for playing time at safety... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in February 2014.

2016: Played in all 12 games and was a starter at a safety position in the final three contests... Credited with 25 tackles and a forced fumble for the season... Season-high 13 tackles and forced a fourth-quarter fumble that saved a touchdown vs. Air Force (11/19)... One of two Spartans with at least 10 unassisted tackles in a 2016 game with his 10 against Air Force... Was in on nine tackles in his first major college start at Boise  State (11/4)...  Was a contributing special teams player before moving into the starting lineup.

2015: Did not see any game action.

2014: Completed the season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: A safety and a quarterback at Bethel High in Vallejo, Calif. (Coach Jeff Turner)... A two-time, first team All-Solano County Athletic League and all-area selection... Also lettered in track and field... A sprinter who finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 200 meters at the 2013 and 2014 Solano County Athletic League Outdoor Track and Field Championships... Was a 2013 Bethel High Scholar-Athlete.
