Bobby brings his championship background from the last two seasons with him to the Spartans as a safety prospect this spring. Brown played one season for College of the Canyons (Coach Ted Iacenda) and helped the Cougars win the 2017 Western State Bowl. A free safety, he was in on 42 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, shared the team lead with five pass break ups and intercepted two passes.

The graduate of Paraclete High in Lancaster, Calif. (Coaches Dean Harrington and Norm Dahlia) contributed 126 tackles, 4.5 quarterback sacks and two pass interceptions in his two seasons of varsity football. A wide receiver on offense, he caught 32 passes for 722 yards and nine touchdowns his senior season and led the Spirits with his 22.6 yards per catch average. The All-C.I.F. Division 6 selection and first-team All-Gold Coast League honoree helped Paraclete win the 2016 C.I.F. Division 3AA championship.

The two-sport athlete also was a sprinter on the track and field team. He ran the third leg of Paraclete’s 2017 4x100 meter relay team that finished fifth at the California Interscholastic Federation Championships.

Bobby plans to major in business management. For nearly 10 years, one of his favorite activities is building go karts with his dad. Bobby is a native of Woodland Hills, Calif.
