Bailey Gaither had career bests of eight receptions for 125 yards and the team's one touchdown.

AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: In his third season with the Spartans... A wide receiver and special teams player... Tops the 2017 opening fall depth chart at one of the slot receiver positions... Was the most explosive player in the 2017 Spring Game with four receptions for 150 yards and touchdown plays of 45 and 95 yards... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent with the program in February 2015.

2016: Played in all 12 games... Was a starting wide receiver against Iowa State (9/24)... Four pass receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown for the season... First major college touchdown was a 25-yard pass play to open the scoring in the Air Force game (11/19)... Rushed three times for 19 yards... Returned seven kickoffs for an 18.3 average and one punt for no yards.
