The 2013-14 San José State men's basketball team hosts two exhibition games next week - Cal State Monterey Bay on Monday, November 4, and Pacific Union on Wednesday, November 6. Both games begin at 7 p.m., at The Event Center.
The Spartans return four letterwinners and feature seven newcomers on the team under the direction of first-year head coach Dave Wojcik. Wojcik came to San José State after spending the past three years as the associate head coach at Boise State.
Chris Cunningham returns for his senior season after averaging 10.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game last season. D.J. Brown averages 9.2 points and 3.7 assists per game. Jaleel Williams and Mike VanKirk also return this season.
Seven players join the Spartan program for this season, led by guards Jalen James and Rashad Muhammad. Both were three-star rated players by ESPN, Future150, Rivals and Scout. Others joining the program include Dylan Alexander, Brandon Mitchell, Matt Pollard, Isaac Thornton and Devante Wilson.

Parking for all fans is available for $5 at the Seventh Street/South Parking Garage, located on the corner of Seventh and San Salvador Streets. Entrance to the garage is off of Seventh Street.
