Fans across the nation can now listen to every men’s basketball game and every home women’s basketball game as San José State has teamed up with Stretch Internet for audio broadcasts during the 2014-15 season.

Since its formation more than 10 years ago, Stretch has expanded to provide services for more than 500 colleges and universities, high schools, professional sports organizations and non-sports entities. All San José State audio broadcasts will be available via the Stretch Internet web link posted on the men’s and women’s basketball schedule pages at SJSUSpartans.com.

Joe Boylan will join play-by-play announcer Justin Allegri on all men’s hoops broadcasts this season. Boylan’s experience in men’s college basketball goes back to the 1970’s when he helped lead Rutgers to an NCAA Final Four appearance as the associate head coach. He also spent 20 years as the director of athletics at Loyola (Md.) University before getting into broadcasting in 2010.

In addition to the coverage by Stretch Internet, weekend men’s basketball games can also be heard on KLIV 1590 AM. All women’s basketball home games can also be heard on KSJS 90.5 FM.

Video coverage is available for every home game and Mountain West contest via the Spartan Digital Network.

The action begins this Sunday, November 2, when men’s basketball hosts CSU East Bay in an exhibition game at 4:00 p.m.
