Men's Hoops Picked 11th In Preseason MW Media Poll

Four starters from the 2013-14 team are returning for head coach Dave Wojcik this season.

Colorado Springs, Colo. --- The Mountain West released its men’s basketball preseason media poll today where San José State was chosen to finish 11th. The poll was determined by a voting panel comprised of Conference media.

Defending Mountain West regular-season champion San Diego State received 34 out of 35 first-place votes and 383 points, making it an overwhelming favorite in the poll.

The Spartans received 41 points, falling right behind Utah State which was picked 10th and received 98 points.

The San José State men’s basketball season begins with two exhibition games on November 2 against Cal State East Bay and November 8 versus Notre Dame De Namur. The regular season begins November 14 at 5:00 p.m. against Bethesda in The Event Center.
