Tickets for the 2014 DIRECTV Wooden Legacy are on sale now! Be there when the San José State opens up one of the most prestigious annual college basketball tournaments on Thursday, November 27 at 8:00 p.m. against Washington in Titan Gym. The action continues with two more games for the Spartans throughout the Thanksgiving weekend event which also includes Long Beach State, Princeton, San Diego, UTEP, Washington, Western Michigan and Xavier.
The tournament will be held at two sites with the opening two rounds being played Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28) at Titan Gym on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. Four games, including the championship contest, will be played at Honda Center on Sunday, November 30 in Anaheim, Calif.
All-session tickets and individual tickets for Championship Sunday will be available at www.ticketmaster.com, via telephone at 800/745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster outlets beginning Friday. Tickets for all sessions will be available for purchase at Honda Center Box Office beginning Saturday (October 4). Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets by telephoning 714/940-2859. Individual tickets for the opening two rounds can be purchased at the Cal State Fullerton Athletic Ticket Office or by telephoning 657/278-2783.
Five of the eight teams in the 2014 DIRECTV Wooden Legacy competed in the postseason last March. Western Michigan and Xavier earned berths in the NCAA Championships, while Princeton and UTEP participated in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) and San Diego reached the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT).
Special two-year ticket packages are available for 2014 and 2015 when purchased together. Teams scheduled to compete in 2015 are Arizona, Boise State, Boston College, Evansville, Michigan State, Providence, Santa Clara and UC Irvine.
