SJSU Signee Tabbed First-Team All-State; City Section POY

MaxPreps tabbed Keith Fisher as a first-team all-state player in 2015-16.

LOS ANGELES --- San José State's 6-foot-7 power forward signee, Keith Fisher, is a MaxPreps California first-team all-state selection. 

The Los Angeles native is a first-team choice alongside UCLA commits and McDonald's All-America Game participants Lonzo Ball and T.J. Leaf as well as USC commit De' Anthony Melton and San Francisco commit Jordan Ratinho.

In addition, Fisher is the Los Angeles City Section Player of the Year for the 2015-16 season. The John R. Wooden Award Committee made the announcement.
 
The Westchester High School senior averaged 19.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game while leading California's #13-ranked (MaxPreps) high school in the state to a L.A. City Section Open Division championship.
 
Fisher starred for Westchester High which finished 26-7 overall, and 11-1 in league play. The team finished the year ranked top-50 in the country according to MaxPreps.
 
ESPN.com has Fisher rated as a top-20 player in the state of California, 38th on the Top West Recruits list and 58th by position in the nation.
 
Fisher signed a National Letter-of-Intent to compete for the Spartans in November of 2015.
 
Other postseason honors for Keith included Los Angeles Times and Torrance Daily Breeze All-Area Team recognition.
