Seniors: Forwards Wil Carter and Garrett Ton, center Matt Ballard, and guard Calvin Douglas are four San Jose State seniors playing their final two home games for the Spartans. The quartet will be recognized during Senior Night pregame festivities on March 3 against Idaho. Carter (Salt Lake Community College), Ballard (Irvine Valley College) and Douglas (City College of San Francisco) are in their second year with the Spartans. Ton is in his fourth active season at San Jose State.

Kinney Sets Single-Season 3-Point Field Goal Record: In the March 1 Utah State game, guard James Kinney set a San Jose State single-season record for most 3-point baskets made. Kinney was 4-of-9 from three-point territory against the Aggies. Heading into the Idaho game, his 81 three-pointers are three more than the previous mark of 78, set by Robert Owens in 2010.
Kinney, the fifth San Jose State player to make a single-game school record seven three-pointers in a game when the Spartans beat UTSA last November, also is two attempts away from setting a new single-season record for most three-point basket tries in a season. He enters the Idaho game with 201 attempts.
