Spartans Lose on the Road to Nevada, 62-51

RENO, Nev. (AP)- Jaleel Williams led the Spartans with 21 points in Saturday's loss to Nevada.

It was AJ West's 14th double-double of the season, ranking him second in the Mountain West and 18th in the nation. Nevada (9-19, 5-11 Mountain West) shot only 33.3 percent from the field but hit 34 of 47 at the free throw line.

Nevada led by just two, 50-48, with five minutes left, but ended the game on a 12-3 run, highlighted by six straight West free throws and a D.J. Fenner jam.

UP NEXT: San Jose State hosts Boise State on Wednesday night.
