2016-17: Averaged 13.2 points and 4.5 rebounds over 30 games … Started 27 contests … Scored a season-high 22 points in the win over Southern Utah (12/21) … Double-figure scoring in 14 of the last 15 games and in 11 straight to end the year … Guided SJSU to its first win over New Mexico (2/4) with 20 points and eight rebounds … Had 10 games with 15 or more points and four 20-point games … Scored 17 on the road at No. 15 Saint Mary’s … Played 96 minutes of turnover-free basketball on SJSU’s three-game road trip which featured wins over Washington State (11/27) and Idaho (11/29) … 20 points in the win at Washington State, giving SJSU its first win over a Pac-12 school since 2010 … Scored 19 points and hit a critical 3-pointer to help SJSU defeat UNLV (1/28) for the first time since 1996 and begin a four-game winning streak … Finished the year 83.1 percent from the free throw line, more than 30 percentage points higher than his freshman season.
2015-16: Third on the team at 10.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in 31 contests and 26 starts … Began the year with back-to-back double-doubles … Second on the team with 17 games in double-figure scoring … Part of a true freshmen group which contributed 43.5 percent of SJSU’s scoring, which finished second in the country to Kentucky … Season-high 28 points at Fresno State (1/16) … 23 points on the road at San Diego State (1/6) … Season-high 11 rebounds in the 128-60 win over Life Pacific College … 12 games with multiple assists including a season-high four at New Mexico (1/23) … Hit five threes in the win over Alaska Anchorage (11/28) and at Fresno State (1/16) … Season-best two blocks in the win over Montana (11/16) … Season-best three steals in back-to-back games at Seattle U (12/20) and versus Life Pacific College (12/22).
HIGH SCHOOL: Led Greensburg (Ind.) Community High School to four consecutive section titles and back-to-back Class 3A state championships (2013 & 2014) … Set the school’s single-season scoring record with 702 total points … Averaged 30.8 points, and 13.7 rebounds per game senior year … Selected first-team all-state of Indiana by both the Associated Press and the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) … 2014-15 East Indiana Athletic Conference (EIAC) Most Valuable Player … Scored a school-record 47 points in a win over South Decatur (1/24/15) … A first-team Academic All-State senior.
