2017-18: A 2017-18 All-Mountain West honorable mention … Scored 542 points and took over as the sixth-leading scorer all-time at SJSU with 1,258 career-points … A 3-pointer against Utah State (2/28) made Welage SJSU’s all-time leader with 155 made three-point baskets and he finished the year with 161 makes from downtown … Led SJSU in scoring 19 times … Finished the season ranked fourth in the Mountain West at 18.1 points per game … The league’s most accurate free throw shooter at 87.7 percent (100-114) … Double-figure scoring in 26 games including 14 games of 20-plus points and two 30-point games … Scored a career-high 37 points – the second-most of any individual in the Mountain West in 2017-18 – against Wyoming (1/27) … Season-high nine rebounds at Nevada (2/21) … Season-high four assists versus San Diego State (2/24).

2016-17: Averaged 13.2 points and 4.5 rebounds over 30 games … Started 27 contests … Scored a season-high 22 points in the win over Southern Utah (12/21) … Double-figure scoring in 14 of the last 15 games and in 11 straight to end the year … Guided SJSU to its first win over New Mexico (2/4) with 20 points and eight rebounds … Had 10 games with 15 or more points and four 20-point games … Scored 17 on the road at No. 15 Saint Mary’s … Played 96 minutes of turnover-free basketball on SJSU’s three-game road trip which featured wins over Washington State (11/27) and Idaho (11/29) … 20 points in the win at Washington State, giving SJSU its first win over a Pac-12 school since 2010 … Scored 19 points and hit a critical 3-pointer to help SJSU defeat UNLV (1/28) for the first time since 1996 and begin a four-game winning streak … Finished the year 83.1 percent from the free throw line, more than 30 percentage points higher than his freshman season.

Led Greensburg (Ind.)
