SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State University baseball team is in the midst of playing nine games in 11 days with the upcoming back-to-back series with the University of San Francisco comprising the back half of that stretch.  SJSU plays a four-game series against USF from Friday, May 12 to Monday, May 15 with the first two games at the University of San Francisco and the last two at San Jose State.

Through five games, the Spartans are 1-4.  Back on May 5 to 7, the Spartans played a Mountain West conference series hosting San Diego State, but lost all three games.  The Spartans then had a travel day on May 8 before playing a two-game series on May 9 and 10 in Phoenix against Grand Canyon University that the teams split.

The USF series will be the last non-conference series the Spartans play this regular season.
