SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Spartans play Stanford of the Pac-12 Conference in the front end of a home-and-home series on Tuesday.  SJSU will visit Stanford on May 2.  San José State will send Jaiden France to the mound who will make his first career start as a Spartan.

SJSU is coming off an unbeaten series over the weekend against Mountain West Conference leading New Mexico.

On Friday, April 7, the Spartans defeated the Lobos 2-1.  Saturday’s game was cancelled due to wet field conditions and Sunday’s game ended in a 5-5 tie due to travel curfew.

The Spartans are 11-3-1 this season at home and 8-1-1 at Municipal Stadium, including being unbeaten in their last eight games at the Muni.

Five home games were played at the various venues in Stockton, Calif. earlier in the year due to the weather conditions in San Jose.
