Baseball Looks To End Five-Game Skid Versus Santa Clara

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Spartans return home to Municipal Stadium to take on the Santa Clara Broncos of the West Coast Conference for a Wednesday mid-week game.  SJSU is looking to put an end to its five-game skid, all coming on the road.  San José State will send lefty Zach Wallace to the mound who will make his first career start as a Spartan.

San José State is currently in the midst of playing 13 road games out of 17.

Last week, SJSU played five non-conference road games in a span of six days.  The Spartans played a mid-week night game at Pacific on Tuesday, March 21, travelled the next day to Hawaii before playing a four-game series from Thursday, March 23 to Sunday, March 26 on the Islands.

After today’s game versus Santa Clara, San José State will hit the road once again for a weekend series against San Diego State in a conference matchup.
