The San José State University men’s baseball team was picked to finish seventh in the Mountain West in a poll of the conference’s head coaches.

New Mexico was picked to finish first earning three first place votes and 31 overall points. The Lobos were the 2017 conference champions with a record of 19-9-1 in the Mountain West.
