San Jose State swept the Falcons after defeating Air Force 3-1 Saturday at Municipal Stadium.

AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: Completed his fourth season with the Spartans…2017 & 2018 Second-Team All-Mountain West Honoree…San José State’s all-time home runs leader with 26…Second all-time in RBI’s at 143…Tied for sixth all-time in at-bats with 719… eighth all-time in hits at 223…Tied for 10th all-time in hit by pitch with 32…11th all-time in games played with 196.

2018: Started and appeared in 54 games this season (48 1B, 3 2B, 3 DH)…Primarily batted out of the third spot in the order…Mountain West Player of the Week honoree...Averaged more than an RBI per game; Sixth in the Mountain West and led team in RBI’s with 55…Tied for most RBI’s in a single game this season by a Mountain West player with eight versus Fresno State (4/14); His eight RBI performance was second most ever recorded in a single game in SJSU history (4-for-5, 3R, HR, GSHR, 2B, 8RBI)…Broke the San José State home runs record on senior weekend with his second grand slam of the season against Air Force (5/18); Recorded the game winning hit in that same game to send San José State to the Mountain West Tournament… Led team in home runs with eight…Second on team in batting average at .333…Scored second most runs on the team with 46…Led team in multi-RBI games with 13…Third on team in multi-hit games with 18…Season-high and team-high five hits versus Santa Clara (4/10)…Finished season with a nine game hit streak. 2016: Started in 48 of the 49 games played… Played first base in 46 games… Batted cleanup in 41 games… Led the team in batting average (.328), on-base percentage (.383), hits (61) and multiple hit games (17)… Tied for the team lead in RBIs with 26… Second on the team in slugging percentage (.452), home runs (4) and total bases (84)… Had a team-high 12 game hitting streak… Reached base in 24 consecutive games (2/23 – 4/19)… Hit safely in 39 of 49 games… Slugged home runs against UC Irvine (2/19), UNLV (3/4), Grand Canyon (5/3) and San Diego State (5/25)...
