Ethan Ross was appointed as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at San José State in July of 2017. He is the primary athletic trainer for the Spartans men’s soccer team.
His duties include evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of sports related injuries for the student-athletes.
Ross came to the Spartans after four years as an outreach athletic trainer with Athletico Physical Therapy in Chicago, Ill. During that time he was the associate ATC at Elmwood Park High School and Dominican University.
The 2012 graduate of The Ohio State University earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, and is currently pursuing his master’s in the same field at SJSU.
Ross is a native of Elmhurst, Ill., who now calls Chicago home.
