Connor Lauffenburger was appointed as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at San José State in July of 2017. He is the primary athletic trainer for the Spartans baseball team.
His duties include the evaluation, management, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries during practices and competitions.
Lauffenburger came to the Spartans after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an athletic training focus in 2017. During his time with the Beavers Lauffenburger was a student athletic trainer for the football, women’s track & field, swimming and wrestling teams.
He is now pursuing a master’s degree in athletic training within SJSU’s kinesiology department.
Lauffenburger is a native of Grants Pass, Ore.
