Benjamin Lee has served as the acupuncturist for San José State University Athletics since 2011, using acupuncture and Chinese herbs to assist athletes in recovery of conditions related to sports medicine, post-surgical complications, and internal medicine. After a successful pilot program with San José State football, the acupuncture program was eventually expanded to include many other NCAA sports teams including soccer, golf, volleyball, water polo, swimming, gymnastics, track, softball and tennis.
Lee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 2002 and a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in 2009.
He is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board, certified Diplomate in Canonical Chinese Medicine by ICEAM, and is in private practice at T.E.A.M. Clinic Sports Medicine in Santa Clara.
