PHILOSOPHYSpartan Athletic Performance has two principle objectives: injury prevention and performance enhancement.
Our comprehensive performance model is grounded in the demands of bio-motor, bio-dynamics and bio-energetics of sport. Movement is the tool used to assess risk of injury and performance levels. Protocols addressing the principle objectives are created on the basis of each student-athletes movement capabilities.
This model serves as the foundation for increasing the skills and capacities needed to achieve optimal performance levels. The year round periodic training model covers all facets of athletic performance specific to the competitive and preparatory phases.
