
| Baseball's Ryan Angel Named To 2007 Wallace Watch | ||||||||||

Lubbock, Texas. - Ryan Angel of the San Jose State University baseball team has been named to the 2007 Wallace Watch, released Monday, November 20, by the College Baseball Foundation. The Brooks Wallace Award is presented annually to the national college baseball player of the year. This marks the second consecutive year in which a Spartan has been named to the Wallace Watch. Left-handed pitcher Branden Dewing received the distinction prior to his senior season in 2006. Dewing is now a member of the Oakland Athletics organization. This is the second time in his career that Angel is getting honored by the College Baseball Foundation. He was previously named to the weekly CBF "National Honor Roll" on May 10, 2006. |
