2008: Appeared in 19 matches, starting 18...was second on the squad in points (6) and shots (25)...netted the first goal of her collegiate career in a 3-0 win over Cal State Bakersfield (10/15)...also scored against Utah State (10/26)...assists came on the overtime game-winner against Sacramento State (9/14), and in a 1-1 tie versus Louisiana Tech (10/24)...took a season-high nine shots against Sacramento State.

2007: One of two returners to play in all 21 matches...made six starts; at Northern Arizona (9/14), versus Southern Utah (9/16), against San Diego State (9/19), versus Northern Iowa (9/23), against Cal State Fullerton (9/28) and Eastern Washington (9/31)...took 21 shots, including a single-match high of four against Eastern Washington...seven shots were on goal, including two versus Northern Iowa.

2006: One of two true freshmen to see action, appearing in eight games...debut came at UC Davis (9/6)...also played at third-ranked Santa Clara (10/4)...notched her first collegiate point by assisting on the second goal of a 3-0 win in the conference opener against Boise State (10/6)...had a season-high four shots in that game...five of her eight shots on the year were on goal.

PRESENTATION HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years in soccer for head coach and former Spartan great Mani Hernandez at nearby Presentation High School, where she played with current teammate Nina Butera her last two seasons...two-year varsity captain...earned second-team All-Mercury News, second-team all-league and team Most Valuable Player honors as a senior...all-league honorable mention as a junior, when she led team in assists and was second in goals...member of Central Coast Section finalist team as a sophomore...previously the MVP of the junior varsity team as a freshman.

ROXY: A business administration major, with a concentration in marketing...enjoys going to the beach, jet skiing and wakeboarding...will serve as the junior varsity coach at her former school, Presentation High School, this year after spending the previous two seasons as the frosh coach...played club soccer for Los Gatos Elite (Coach Steve Wilson), with current teammates Katie Bonadies and Nina Butera...has one younger sister, Auti...parents are Frank and Shab Kamal...father played soccer at Fresno State...Roxanna Kamal, a native of San Jose, was born on October 17, 1988.
