SPARTAN NOTES: In her second season with the Spartans...one of three senior captains on the 2006 roster.

2005: Played in 15 games, drawing starts in the first three games vs. UC Irvine, at Cal State Fullerton and at Long Beach State, as well as vs. Santa Clara...scored her first major college goal in 2-2 tie at Sacramento State (9/25)...added a pair of assists, both in the 3-2 overtime win vs. Saint Mary’s (10/26), for four total points...took nine shots, with two on goal.

CABRILLO COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Cabrillo College (Coach Paolo Carbone) in Aptos, Calif....tallied 14 goals and 14 assists for 42 total points as a sophomore in 2004, ranking her 17th in the state...earned NSCAA/adidas Junior College Division III All-Far West Region honors...was also the Coast Conference’s “Most Valuable Player” in 2004.

APTOS HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2003 from Aptos (Calif.) High School...lettered four years in soccer (Coach Ashley Edgar) and two years in track and field...earned first-team all-league honors her final three years after garnering honorable mention as a freshman...also league’s “Forward of the Year” her senior year.

CRISTIN: Majoring in sociology...enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding and going to the beach...played club soccer for the Santa Cruz Magic...Cristin Murphy, born in Santa Cruz, Calif., will turn 21 years old during the 2006 season.
