AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his third season at San Jose State...signed during the 2005 fall signing period...transfer from Arizona State University...increased his scoring output every season at the major college level...doubled his rebounding output and nearly tripled his scoring per game between his freshman and sophomore seasons...31 double-figure scoring games as a Spartan...four games of 20 or more points...ranks among the top-10 at the university for most three-point baskets made (109, 6th) and attempted (329, 4th) at the start of the season. 2007-08: One of two Spartans to play and start in all 32 games...second on the team in scoring with an 11.2 average...was in double-figure scoring 21 times including a season-high 20 points against Idaho (Mar. 1)...had a string of six double-figure scoring games (Dec. 28, 2007 - Jan. 10, 2008)...led the Spartans with 69 three-point baskets...made at least one three-point basket in 27 games and had a season-high five in the win at Cal State Bakersfield (Nov. 30)...best shooting game may have been in the Santa Clara win (Jan. 7) when he was 5-of-6 from the field including 4-of-5 from three-point range and a pair of free throws for 16 points...credited with a single-game best nine rebounds in the WAC Tournament win against Louisiana Tech (Mar. 11)...had a career-high three steals in the Cal State Bakersfield triumph (Jan. 29)...played in all three games and averaged 17.1 points per game...was the team’s leading scorer against the Milton Keynes Lions scoring 25 points. 2006-07: Played in 27 of the Spartans’ 30 games...started the first 10 games of the season and appeared in a reserve role his final 17 contests...fourth on the team in scoring with an 8.3 average...was in double-figure scoring 10 times...had three games with 20 or more points...career scoring high of 23 at Santa Clara (Nov. 27)...had 20 points in the win at Idaho (Feb. 1) and 20 at Nevada (Feb. 14)...shared or was the team leader in scoring in seven games...team leader in 3-point field goals (40)...made five 3-point baskets in the Santa Clara and Idaho games during his 20 or more point performances...averaged 3.3 rebounds a game...had his single-game best of 8 rebounds in back-to-back games at Duke (Dec. 31) and Louisiana Tech (Mar. 4).
ARIZONA STATE: Played the 2005 season for the Sun Devils...appeared in 21 games, all as a reserve guard...averaged 3.0 points per game...was in double-figure scoring twice...had a season-high 12 points in the win over Long Island (Dec. 28)...had a conference scoring best of 10 points against Southern California (Jan. 15)...season rebounding high of six came in the season opener against Jackson State (Nov. 21). HERCULES HIGH: Played his senior season at Hercules (Calif.) High School (Coach Mark Olivier)...averaged 28.4 points and scored 739 points in 2003-04...was rated among the top players in Northern California...7th in California and was the top forward according to CalHi Sports.com...#70 by School Sports...#77 by Clark Francis of Basketball Times...had a 50-point game on February 24, 2004.
FREMONT HIGH: Played three seasons at Fremont High School in Oakland, Calif...received all-league, all-city, and second-team all-state recognition...averaged 26.2 points a game as a junior...averaged 26.4 points per game as a sophomore including a 42-point performance against De La Salle High of Concord...was credited with 24 rebounds in a game against El Cerrito High...averaged 11.2 points a game as a freshman on the varsity team.
TIM: Majoring in sociology...finished his high school career scoring 2,385 points in 103 games for a 23.2 average...was born in Oakland, Calif., on May 14, 1985.
