SEAN LINTON An all-league wide receiver and All-East County defensive back, Sean is going to start his major college career as a wide receiver candidate this fall. Linton caught 34 passes for 565 yards and four touchdowns for Helix High (Coach Troy Starr) in La Mesa, Calif. He was a second-team All-Grossmont League South pick as a wide receiver his senior season. Sean also received honorable mention All-East County honors as a junior. Sean has not decided on an academic major. He enjoys watching movies and lists Money Talks, The Wood and Rush as three of his favorites. Linton, who was named to the 2009 San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic team, enjoys the music of Lil Wayne, Jay Z and Currency. Sean was born in Rochester, N.Y., on February 16, 1992. MacIntyre on Linton: "Sean is a receiver who knows how to play the game. He can stick his foot in the ground and go get a football. He's a polished receiver, a big target and an excellent guy to throw to when we're in the 'red zone.'" |
