2006: Redshirted the season... Spent the 2006 season on the Scout Team...Some weeks, he was a running back or option quarterback; other weeks, a defensive back.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Larry Cunha), basketball and track and field at Roseville (Calif.) High School ... Was named the 2005 “Offensive Most Valuable Player” for the Sierra Foothill League... Played quarterback as a senior and led the league in scoring with 16 rushing touchdowns... Rushed for 808 yards averaging 7.3 yards per carry and threw for 900 yards... Second-team All-Metro selection by the Sacramento Bee... was a wide receiver as a junior... Caught 25 passes for 505 yards and three touchdowns... Rushed for three touchdowns and averaged 41.0 yards per kickoff return... Was credited with 39 tackles, two interceptions and three fumble recoveries as a defensive back... Was a second-team all-league choice in basketball his junior season...
