HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach George Pye) and track and field at DeAnza High School in Richmond, Calif.... Played tight end, linebacker, defensive end and fullback ...Received first-team All-Alameda Contra Costa League and team "Most Valuable Player" honors as a senior... A sprinter and hurdler on the school’s track and field team.

JOHN: Economics major... Was his school’s 2004 Homecoming king ....The San Francisco native was born on December 28, 1986.
