AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his sixth season at San Jose State... Returns for his senior campaign a second time after being granted a hardship exemption...Two-time second-team All-WAC honoree...First San Jose State back to average more than 6.0 yards per carry in successive seasons...First Spartan since 2000 to rush for 1,000 yards in a season, finishing 2006 with 1,007 yards on 163 carries and a 6.2 yards per carry average...Has six career 100-yard rushing games.

2007: Played only in the games at Arizona State (9/1) and against Idaho (10/6)...Injured on his first carry at Arizona State...Two rushes for no yards against Idaho...Named to the 2007 Football Writers Association of America All-America watch list.

2005: Second-team All-WAC pick... fourth in the conference and 89th nationally in rushing with his 638 yards on 95 carries...6.7 yards per carry average was seventh best among the top-100 Division I-A rushers... rushed for 98 yards on 13 carries in the 35-24 season-opening victory against Eastern Washington... averaged 7.4 yards per carry the last five games of the season... was the first player to rush for more than 100 yards in a 2005 contest against Fresno State with a 16-carry, 136-yard performance... earned WAC “Offensive Player of the Week” honors rushing for a single-game major college personal best of 150 yards and a touchdown in the New Mexico State victory.

2004: Played in two games and went on to receive a redshirt year.

2003: Made an immediate impression in the 2003 opener against Grambling State accumulating 138 all-purpose yards and scoring a touchdown in a 29-0 win.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach John Beam), baseball and track at Skyline High School of Oakland, Calif.... was the San Francisco Chronicle’s 2002 Alameda County "Player of the Year" and a second-team all-state selection by CalHi Sports... rushed for 1,208 yards and 16 touchdowns, intercepted four passes and returned two punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns as a senior... returned four punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns as a junior.
