Realized a rebirth to his college football career with a move to wide receiver...Second-team All-Western Athletic Conference wide receiver who ranked in the top-15 nationally in receptions (13th) and receiving yards (9th)...Third Spartan in school history to gain at least 1,000 receiving yards in a season with 1,183 – third most at San Jose State...One of three Spartans to catch at least one pass in every 2007 game...First San Jose State player since 2004 with 10 receptions in a game and notched four double-digit efforts in 2007 including a season-best 11 for 156 yards at Louisiana Tech (11/17) ... Also had 10 receptions at Kansas State (9/7), Idaho (10/12) and New Mexico State (11/10)...Five games with at least 100 receiving yards...233 yards in the New Mexico State victory was tops in the WAC and tied for eighth best by a Football Bowl Subdivision player...First Spartan since 2001 with a 200-plus yard receiving game... Played in every game... Started as a safety in the Louisiana Tech contest... Was credited with 14 tackles on the season... Had his season high of
four tackles in the season-opening win against Eastern Washington... Was the team’s number-one holder for kick-scoring attempts.

Lettered in football (Coach Mike Machado) at Valley Christian High School (Coach Mike Machado) in San
Jose... Scored 24 touchdowns as a senior... Concluded his prep career playing in the 2004 Santa Clara County All-Star Football Game.
