HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Vic Cooper), baseball and wrestling at Atascadero (Calif.) High School ... rushed for 531
yards and eight touchdowns and passed for 1,245 yards and 10 scores as a high school senior... was a two-time, first-team all-league football selection...played
shortstop...wrestled at 171-pounds.
