Played in each of the first three games before an injury ended his
season...His best statistical game occurred at Illinois in which he
completed 60 percent of his passes for 111 yards and was the team’s
leading rusher...Threw a 27-yard touchdown pass against San Diego State.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A decorated high school quarterback, Bozzo prepped at Palma High (Coach Jeff Carnazzo) in Salinas, Calif., where he won 33 games as the starting quarterback...Palma was the 2003 Central Coast Section Division I champion and Bozzo shared his league’s 2004 Most Valuable Player award...The three-sport letterwinner also lettered in baseball and track and field...He was a 2005 league champion in the 100 meters.
