HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Andrew Penwarden) and track and field at Willow Glen High in San Jose...Was a two-time, first-team all-league choice and the 2006 Wesy Valley League Most Valuable Player...Rushed for 1,922 yards on 214 carries and scored 30 touchdowns as a senior in 2006...Also caught 13 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns...Was the 2006 Central Coast Section scoring leader with 198 points (32 touchdowns and three 2-point PATs)...Rushed for 1,052 yards on 169 carries and scored eight touchdowns in 2005...Led his team in pass receiving with 22 receptions for 320 yards and three touchdowns as a junior.
