AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his third season with the Spartans... A running back candidate.

2009: Only game action of the season was at Stanford (9/19) as a kickoff returner...Returned three kickoffs for a 16.0 average.

2008: Debuted in the Nevada game (11/15), but did not have any rushing attempts...Joined the team as a walk-on hopeful.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of San Jose’s Willow Glen High (Coach Andrew Penwarden)...Had  a pair of 1,000-plus yard rushing seasons and scored 44 touchdowns in his final two seasons...Led the Central Coast Section in scoring in 2006 with 32 touchdowns, 30 of them rushing...Tallied 1,922 rushing yards and a 8.9 yards per carry average as a senior...Was the Most Valuable Player of the West Valley League...Also lettered in track and field.
