 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: Played as a defensive end in 25 games covering three seasons including the Trojans’ 2004 national championship season...Credited with two tackles as a junior, 11 in his sophomore season of 2005 and 18 as a freshman...Best statistical game was in the 2004 Colorado State game when he was credited with 4.0 tackles including 2.5 for loss, one of which was a quarterback sack that resulted in a USC fumble recovery for a touchdown...Opened his college career with a sack against Virginia Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of San Jose’s Valley Christian High (Coach Mike Machado)...Was a first-team All-American his senior season...Also named to Super Prep Elite 50, PrepStar Top-100 Dream Team, Lemming Top-100, Long Beach Press Telegram Best in the West first team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Gatorade California Player of the Year, and an Orange County Register Fab 15 choice...Was credited with 140 tackles, 37 tackles for loss, 18 quarterback sacks, 15 pass break-ups and four fumble recoveries in 2003...Concluded his prep career playing in the 2004 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
