2008: Played in all 12 games as a freshman...Playing time increased in the defensive secondary as the season progressed...Was credited with 11 tackles...Twice, in the San Diego State (9/13) and Hawai’i (9/27) wins, he was credited with three tackles...Spartans were winners in each of the first three games in which he was in on a tackle...Had a pair of two-game streaks with a tackle to his ledger.

(Coach Patrick Walsh)...A 2007 San Francisco Chronicle second-team All-Metro choice...First-team all-league honors as a senior with 49 tackles, 2.0 quarterback sacks and three pass break-ups...Second on his team with 76 tackles in his junior season...Rushed for 1,489 yards, averaged 8.7 yards per carry and scored 15 touchdowns his junior and senior seasons.
