AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his third season at San Jose State... Returning starter at offensive right tackle...Moved from left to right tackle for the 2008 season... Originally joined the team for 2007 preseason camp as a defensive tackle hopeful... Has 14 major college starts since joining the Spartans.

2008: Started 11 of 12 games in 2008...Was a reserve at right tackle for the Nebraska game (9/6)...Went on to get 10 consecutive starting calls the remainder of the season.

2007: Played in the first four games of the season and started at left tackle in the Kansas State (9/7), Stanford (9/14) and Utah State (9/21) games...Joined the team last fall as a defensive line prospect...Moved to offense the first week of fall camp.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Joe Parra), wrestling, track and field and basketball at John Glenn High in Norwalk, Calif...Was a first-team all-league and All-C.I.F. pick in football...Helped his wrestling team to a league championship.
