COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Transfer from the College of San Mateo (Coach Larry Owens)...Played on two bowl-winning teams and had a pair of interceptions each season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Patrick Walsh) and baseball at Serra High in San Mateo, Calif...Was an honorable mention all-league and all-county selection...Team captain his senior season.
