In his third season with the Spartans...A cornerback prospect who tops the 2009 opening fall depth chart...Can be used as a kickoff returner, too.
2008: Appeared in nine games...Used mainly on special teams and was a reserve cornerback...Only tackle came in the New Mexico State win (10/18)...Had a 35-yard kickoff return at Nevada (11/15).

...Germany led his team in pass receiving with 62 catches for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior...Caught at least one touchdown reception in nine of his team’s 12 games last season... He had a single-game best 10 receptions for 130 yards and three touchdowns against La Quinta (Calif.) High School...As a junior, he excelled as a defensive back with 82 tackles, three pass interceptions and seven pass break-ups.
