SJSU: Gabrielle is in her second season with the San Jose State women's gymnastics team.

2009: Gabrielle competed on the floor in 11 meets. Targosz received a 9.800 at the WAC Championships, at Seattle Pacific and versus Utah State and scored a 9.725 or better in eight meets.

2008: Targosz competed on the floor in seven meets. She tied her career best twice this season with a 9.775 at the WAC Championships and against Southern Utah. Targosz scored a 9.750 at the UC Davis quadrangular in March and a 9.700 at the UNO's Flip For a Cure meet.

2007: Gabrielle competed on the floor in eight meets. She scored a season-best 9.775 at Sacramento State and added a 9.700 at home against Sacramento State and UC Davis.

CLUB: Targosz competed for Arizona Sunrays and Dan Whitenstien. She finished second in the all-around at the 2006 Region 1 Championships and tied for second in the all-around at the 2006 Level 9 Western Gymnastic National Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Targosz graduated from Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, Ariz., in 2006. She was a member of the schools cheerleading squad for one season (2004) and the team placed second at nationals.

PERSONAL: Gabrielle is a communication studies major. She is a San Jose State Scholar Athlete and a three-time Academic All-WAC selection. She enjoys being with her friends and going to the movies. Gabrielle Tenney Targosz was born on November 11, 1987, in Arizona.
